My three children and I love racing, I had been looking for a way to get started in racing and was having a hard time finding the right way to get started and who to trust. Most of the local tracks I knew about did not offer any training classes or programs where you could learn first before you make a purchase. It was pretty much, go buy a kart and come on down and enter. I met Scott at the Frank Marrotta Car show in Hartford Ct. Immediately after talking with him I knew I had found the right person.
We booked our first Class this May, When we arrived we were greeted by five outstanding people, Scott, Pam, Mike, Tom and Scotts Son Jeremy. There instruction was outstanding, they really took the time to teach the ins and outs of safety, racing, the Kart, engine, equipment and flag signals. We then walked the track, Scott and his staff explained in detail to all the participants how to drive around the track.
We then took turns time trialing around the track, using what we were taught; upon completion of our turn they would explain to us any changes that we needed to make to help us succeed in becoming more efficient on the track.
Scott’s son Jeremy also took to the track to show us in detail how to drive around the track and where to be at critical moments this helped the teenage boys that were also in the class immensely.
To have instructors there own age made it much easier for the parents to relax and know that there children were listening not only to the adults but to racer there own age.
At the lunch break Mike walked the track with all the kids answering questions about how to enter and exit the turns,
As we started our afternoon session you could see the improvements in everyone. My kids were having so much fun! Having told Scott we wanted to continue with him to continue training to be able to enter a race, we booked our second class.
Again we reviewed the ins and outs of Safety and the Kart, we changed the oil, learned about handling and more details about the track.
My seven year old son was so focused at the second class because he wanted to be there and he trusted the entire track masters staff. He calls Scott his “Racing Coach”, the second class allows you to fine tune your abilities and focus on what you need to do to get around the track as efficiently and quickly as possible.
My goal was to be able to enter a race and have my son and myself ready. With Scott as our crew chief my seven year old son entered in the appropriate division, practiced, ran the heat race and feature! The results speak for themselves; my son won the heat race and finished second in the feature.
We will be continuing our race training with Scott and trackmasters so when ready, I will be able to purchase the right kart for my son and myself.
If you want to get strarted the right way in this sport, Track masters is by the BEST WAY to get started.

I've known Scot and worked alongside Scot for 2-1/2 yrs as the caterer
for the Tri State Kart Club, in Pomfret,Ct and the Woodstock racetrack
in Woodstock,Ct and he's is a constant force to be reckoned with.
His love of Go-Karting runs deep and his committment for success in
everything he does, can only guarantee that anyone who comes in
contact with Scot and his new adventure at TrackMasters will also
benefit from his efforts as I have...
I wish Scot and his partner Tommy, the best in everything meant
to come they're way and I hope success finds them happy and healthy
for years to come... Good luck my friend...

I've raced karts for over twenty years and met Scott at the Pomfret Speedway. Karting is more fun than most people imagine and once they try it- they love it. Scott your idea of setting up at a place of business is one that any company with a parking lot should take advantage of. With your background and racing experience it would turn out to be one of the companies best activities of the year and one the employees will talk about for a long time to come. Race to the checkers and have fun!
